..still waiting for the simpsons generator to load...still waiting...seems to be going to the movie sight, I don't want that...aha done here goes...playing the Simpsons wrecking ball game now...

more games to me...neat applications but what for? Does the world really need anymore badges?

FDToys http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/ has the numbers but i am not too keen to play as I can't help but think im wasting time- yes I'm learning how and what new toys there are but am i ever going to use them? Maybe not but maybe a library user will?- then they can teach themselves. Take these explanatory captions of examples of some applications:

"Amazing ever-changing photo wall" or "Add a funny caption to any photo but especially for LOLCats posters" or Automatically turn one of your photos into a Wordpress blog header"
Why is the word that pops to mind.

I had a go at the internet typewriter which users at the SLV could use as we do not have Word loaded onto the pC's- but there are other applications listed on our website

I did a google search for 'text generators' and went to Band name generator' http://www.elsewhere.org/bandname which provided a small list of a band names. I chose
furniturebeagle.

I also went to cooltext http://cooltext.com/ and designed my own logo for my new band (sans members) -its an abstract concept.
